Subject: America's Space Program

Sirs:

Our space capability is critical to our national security.
We have made a lot of mistakes in the last ten years in the management of the space program.
We retired shuttle prematurely & didn't implement the Boeing x37 proposal.  We are not even funding the cots efforts ( not optimum approach) adequately which extends the period of paying Russia 70 m per year for access.  Space x is a capsule, Dreamchaser not sufficient for our needs.  The best approach is to implement the x37c approach.  SLS/Orion is without a realistic mission ( should be replaced with a return to moon mission--re Real Space act of 2013).

We can not accomplish an adequate program without overwhelming congressional support.  We can't get this support until we get the public demanding an adequate program.  But the public is not informed, and no matter how much a few space advocate post on the net, write tv stations, nationwide networks we can't get the public informed since they will not cover the issues.

You all have donated lots of resources to various organizations.  I wonder if you would be interested in starting a program to run specials on networks like foxnews or try to convince Roger Ailes to run informative pieces so that we can get the public aware of the damage being done to our space capabilities.

Failing to accomplish this will result in the USA continuing down the road to become a second or third rate power in space which will eventually translate to overall military capabilities .

Thanks for reading & your consideration.

Judge

We have museumed the shuttle & are paying the Russians 70 million a seat, & not adequately funding space x, BUT we have the x37b which is an excellent vehicle, BUT we will not implement the Boeing proposal which would provide an overall better approach & save money!!
Further, with the ukrane situation we may lose our ride on Soyuz .  We could lose the ISS !

Please do an in-depth special on this, you do an excellent job bringing out the details.

A link to the Boeing proposal is below.   Thanks,
